You see that incredibly crappy picture that I took by propping up my crappy cell phone on a stack of dusty DATs? That's me, sitting in the Merce Cunningham Dance Company Soundcave™, which is now my office, because, as of July 1, 2010, I am now the Sound Engineer & Music Coordinator* for the Merce Cunningham Dance Company! This storied hovel has been occupied by many brilliant faces - most recently my good friend and colleague Stephan Moore, who is off to rock a PhD at some brown-colored university of some sort. I'm thrilled to pick up the sonic torch for the remaining year and a half of MCDC's amazing, internationalLegacy tour. So if you see me posting an unusually large amount of Facespace uptwits from theaters in foreign lands, now you know why.
