jesse has done sound design and original music for web design folks like id29, artist people like the yes men, museums such as the field museum, and advertising/education/entertainment media folks like fuevoz, and nanotoon entertainment to name a few.

in addition to his own music performance software, jesse stiles has programmed custom music performance software for the violinist todd reynolds and recently programmed the newest software incarnation of pauline oliveros‘ expanded instrument system. stiles has programmed interactive video software for media peoples like fuevoz and the performance ensemble interface. stiles develops software for computer-controlled light installations & instruments, e.g. his battle helmet.

jesse has taught at the massachusetts college of art, rensselaer polytechnic institute, and vassar college. subjects include computer music, sound for film, and interactive art.
